Creating transformative change in the health sector demands collaboration, shared vision, and unwavering commitment. At Impact Guru Foundation, we are fortunate to have partners who resonate with our mission and enrich our work with their diverse strengths. This blog will explore the power of partnerships and highlight how they have helped Impact Guru Foundation enhance healthcare access and quality across India.
Our journey began in 2014 with a vision to make healthcare accessible and affordable for all. As noble as it is, we understand that it is a colossal task that requires us to pull together various resources. Recognizing the power of unity, we knew that partnerships would be crucial for us to make a meaningful impact.
Our partnerships span across a wide spectrum, including government bodies, private sector corporations, non-profit organizations, and community groups. They provide us with invaluable resources, knowledge, and capabilities, ultimately magnifying our impact manifold.
One of our most significant collaborations has been with government bodies. This synergy is critical because it provides us with a platform to supplement the public health infrastructure with our innovative solutions. For instance, our flagship program, ‘Care on Wheels,’ was developed in alignment with the Government of India’s national urban and rural Health Missions.
Through ‘Care on Wheels‘, Impact Guru Foundation has utilized Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) to reach the most remote corners of the country, offering last-mile connectivity to essential health services. By harnessing the power of mobile technology, this innovative program ensures that geographical boundaries do not obstruct the provision of vital healthcare services. The program has touched the lives of more than 21,000 registered beneficiaries, providing them with primary healthcare services right at their doorstep. Moreover, it has enabled us to conduct health awareness sessions, reaching nearly 19,134 beneficiaries, including children.
In addition to this, Impact Guru Foundation has organized health camps across several states. We’ve held 50 health camps so far, benefitting 6,696 individuals. These camps are typically held in remote, underserved areas where access to basic healthcare services is a significant challenge. This has been made possible because of our strong collaborations with local communities and health officials, ensuring that we reach those who need our services the most. These initiatives are proof of how impactful our partnerships have been in helping us to ‘Fund Curative Care’ – one of the key objectives of our Foundation.
Partnering with private sector organizations has also played a significant role in amplifying our efforts. With their help, we have been able to expand our reach and pool resources to deliver better healthcare solutions. For instance, several corporations have come forward to support our menstrual hygiene initiative. Through these collaborations, we have organized 40 events and distributed 12,234 hygiene kits, impacting the lives of 2,943 girls.
At Impact Guru Foundation, we believe that everyone has a role to play in building a healthier world. Therefore, we value all our partners, big or small, for they contribute towards making our dream of a #HealthyBharatHappyBharat a reality. Each partnership strengthens our commitment and fuels our determination to continue making a difference in the healthcare landscape of India.
We are extremely grateful to our partners for their faith in our mission. They are the key enablers of our work and their support has been instrumental in helping us achieve remarkable milestones in healthcare delivery.
As we continue to grow, we are always looking for more partners to join us in our mission. Whether you’re a corporation, a non-profit organization, a community group, or an individual, there’s a place for you at Impact Guru Foundation. Together, we can ensure that quality healthcare is not a privilege, but a right that everyone in India can enjoy.
Our partners are our strength. Our achievements are their achievements. And together, we’re making a healthier India, one step at a time.
